Stubbington Youth FC Training

Roughly 45 players had the chance to help the RNFA deliver block 1 of a level 2 coaching course at HMS Temeraire during the half term week. Owing to a shortage of players to take part in planned sessions, the club was asked if they could help out at short notice.

The sessions took place at HMS Temeraire where the facilities are superb and gave the players a chance to train on facilities that are probably only second to those found at the FA's St George's Park training complex.

Players from the following teams were able to take part:

U13 Seahawks
U11 Ospreys
U10 Robins
U10 Falcons
U9 Harriers
U9 Raptors

Many thanks to the coaches from the above teams at Stubbington YFC who were able to stay and offer safeguarding and also gain some other ideas for future sessions within the club.

The RNFA have enabled our club to qualify a number of level 1 coaches over the past few years and opportunities such as this further help the development of both the clubs players and future coaches.

Further opportunities should be available and the aim is to include as many players across all team in the future as possible.

Stubbington Youth Football club have teams ranging from Soccertots (4-6 yrs old) all the way through to an under 17 side for the 17/18 season.
