With only 1 training session post the summer break under their belts, the Herons kick-off their pre-season fixture away to Lee Rangers this coming Tuesday evening for what should be a closely matched affair between two teams at a similar level of development striving to make an improved impact on the League for the coming season. The previous meeting between these teams have been close, well-fought battles in which the results could have gone either way. As it stands, it is the Rangers who have the slight edge with 3 wins to the Herons 1 and with two other matches resulting in Draws. The Herons will be without strong centre-back Noah and there is doubt over the fitness of GK/Midfielder Olly. Other-wise the remaining 10 squad players are all thought to be available and raring to show everybody how much they've practiced at home over the summer break.
